We started our son at Petite when he was 16 months old (with Teacher Irma, who he just adored as a toddler) and next week he'll graduate from preschool! He has had great relationships with all the teachers and has had the chance to "grow up" with a lot of the same kids for the last 3 years. Every educator has been dedicated to our son's growth--both academically and socially. From Teacher Homa welcoming him with a "good morning" or Teacher Myrna reminding him to bring his artwork home, it's almost like a little family. He comes home from school talking about the activities of his day and is proud of what he learns and does. Yesterday he told us that Teacher Tashi helped him count to "a lot of big numbers!" (past 100!) We are confident he is well-prepared to make the jump to kindergarten!

I love that Petite is not a big daycare/preschool center, but is larger than a home daycare/preschool. Centers just feel impersonal and lacking personality, and home-care situations didn't work for us because there wasn't staff to accommodate when a teacher was sick or wanted vacation.

We recommend Petite to friends, and will start our newest family addition as soon as he's old enough.

Shideh does a great job and has worked with us in a couple special circumstances, and Petite has grown and made some incredible, forward-moving changes in the past year. We've just had a wonderful experience here.

"After visiting many other daycare programs, I found it easy to choose Petite Academy for my then 4 year old son an 2 year old daughter. I already knew my son was smart and a good pre-school program was one of the top 'must haves' on my list for the daycare that I chose. I wanted him to be able to learn and be challenged, but at his own pace, whether he was ahead or behind other kids.

During my tour I could see what a great pre-school program they had, and that factor, along with the teachers and cleanliness of the facility, made it an easy choice.

When my son started kindergarten a year and a half later, he was already able to do things that a lot of the kids in his class hadn't learned yet. Once he started school, I received multiple comments from teachers about how much he knew and one teacher actually said: 'He must have gone to a really good pre-school.' She was right, he did!

Now my daughter is at the Academy and is learning a lot (at her own pace) an could write her name when she was 3 years old. She will be wholly prepared for kindergarten when it's her turn to go."

"My children have attended Petite Daycare since 2011. I have been pleased with the care and management of the facility since I first arrived. All of my children were under the age of 5 prior to their enrollment at Petite Childcare and one of my greatest desires was that the staff would socially and academically prepare my children for Kindergarten.

It has been such a delight to see the penmanship and number recognition exercises my children bring home daily. The staff has also set time aside to work with my oldest son with supplemental learning materials per my request.

My children love their "teachers" and always look forward to their next day there! I am so fortunate to have found such a warm and nurturing environment to keep careful watch over my little ones."
